We were observing the initial thunderstorm but soon were cut off from going back with a storm filling in behind us.

We elected to stay in front to avoid the large hail that was falling behind us.

A tornado formed briefly on the rear storm.

Northwest of the storm nickel size hail begins to fall as we observe the double rainbow.
